You've done it! You've got the email from PADI and your certification is attached to your online account!

So what's next, you've smashed the skills and taken your first dives under the water. There's a world to explore and no better time to start than now.
Before you go striding off into the deep, we think there are a couple of things you should do.
Record your dives!
There is a noticeable difference in the divers that record their dives and those that don't! Recording your weight, air used, what equipment you wore, even down to what you saw and how you felt is important in every dive but especially in your earlier dives. How will you know what weight to use if it's not written down, will your air consumption be getting better?
Do some reading
Diving is as much a surface hobby as it is a sub-aquatic one. Get involved with dive planning, trip planning, work on that bucket list as well as exploring places to dive locally. It's a big world out there and over 70% of it is water!
GO DIVING!
There isn't a substitue for getting out there and blowing some bubbles. It doesn't matter whether it's a dive with a buddy, a club dive or your next course! Getting in the water is key to making sure those skills you've worked hard on don't fade.
Going diving
There are a couple of options for you at this point;
Take a course
Looking to meet people, progress your diving and build your confidence? Then a course is the next logical step for you. Most tend to steer towards the Advanced Open Water (AOW) but there are a couple of options available to you.

We teach the full spectrum and are always happy to advise on which is our favourites and which ones we think offer the most benefits to new or nervous divers.
Join a Dive
The club is very active and growing by the day, there are normally dives planned but if there aren't then you can guarantee there are club members out there that will jump at the chance to go for a dive.
Visit the website for more information about the Club and how you can get involved in diving. Don't forget, messaging us is all it takes for us to create an event (and probably come too!)
Got your buddy, then just go!
If you're lucky enough to have learned with a partner or friend, or they already dive then you're one of the fortunate ones. You already have your buddy sorted so you just need equipment!
Get in touch to find out about our equipment hire and the process.
