First scuba dive of the New Year
A drift down the river Leven ending up at the Swan Hotel for a bite to eat. A few of us will also be carrying out a Project Aware Dive against Debris. If you fancy joining us them make sure to bring your mesh bag to collect any rubbish you find as you drift down the river.

About the event
We meet at the Fell Foot Park National Trust car park at 9am. After checking that we've all the required equipment (a towed surface marker buoy per buddy team is required as the river has active boat traffic) we move the vehicles to the Swan Inns car park then return to Fell Foot car park. We kit up, do our buddy checks then go for the dive. After drifting down to the Swan Inn we exit the water, get changed and, those that want to, go for a bite to eat at the Swan Inn. There  are no specific diving certification requirements for the dive but each person is responsible for their own safety and will be required to sign the relevant release of liability forms prior to the dive.
Don't forget tp book a table at the pub ifhyou want to have a bite to eat after the dive.
